A sprint project that turned into a life changing product.
In my final year at university, I was given the brief to design something for “wearable smart fabrics”. Using my familiarity with the medical profession, and my drive for meaningful products, I developed Felicitate, a urinary leg bag that could be easily emptied by the user, without assistance, or the feeling of embarrassment.
Next Steps
Going forward I intend to redesign this product for market. There is scope here for a truly meaningful product that justifies its own creation, something lost in modern design in many cases.
